Zoom SMS Communications Terms

By providing your mobile phone number or otherwise agreeing to receive SMS communications from Zoom, you consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from Zoom at that number and agree to these Zoom SMS Communications Terms (“SMS Terms”), the Zoom Privacy Statement, and the Terms of Service. To the extent these SMS Terms conflict with the Terms of Service with respect to SMS communications, these SMS Terms will control. Zoom may modify, suspend, or discontinue SMS communications at any time without notice.

Mobile Number Authorized Use

You represent and warrant that you are the current subscriber or authorized user of, and are authorized to consent to receive SMS communications at, the mobile phone number you provide for Zoom SMS Communications. You agree to promptly update your account information or otherwise notify Zoom if that number changes, is reassigned, or is deactivated. You acknowledge that Zoom may continue to send SMS communications to the number on file until such update or notice is received, and Zoom is not responsible for messages sent to a number that has been changed, reassigned, or deactivated due to your failure to provide timely notice. Failure to comply with this section constitutes a material breach of these SMS Terms.

Wireless Provider Charges

You are responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless provider in connection with SMS and MMS messages, including message and data rates. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your text messaging or data plan.

SMS Communications

SMS communications from Zoom may be sent by or on behalf of Zoom using an automatic telephone dialing system (“ATDS”), other automated systems for the selection or dialing of telephone numbers, or other messaging technology. Your consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

SMS communications may include account-related messages, service notifications, security alerts, support communications, and, where permitted, promotional or marketing messages. Message frequency may vary, and Zoom may change the frequency or types of messages at any time, including in response to your interactions with Zoom.

Opt-Out and Support

You may opt out of SMS communications from Zoom at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the message you receive, including replying STOP where supported. After opting out, Zoom may send a one-time confirmation message. Opt-out preferences may apply to the specific SMS communication or sending number, and you may need to opt out separately from different types of SMS communications. For assistance, follow the instructions in the message you receive or contact support@zoom.us.

Operational Changes and Delivery

Zoom may change the telephone number, sender ID, or other identifier used to send SMS communications at any time. You acknowledge that messages you send to a number or identifier that has been changed, including opt-out or support requests, may not be received, and Zoom is not responsible for acting on such messages.

SMS communications may not be supported on all mobile devices or by all wireless providers and may not be available in all areas. Zoom, its service providers, and wireless providers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
